The Forestland Management Project (FMP) successfully organized its first National People’s Organization (PO) Summit on April 24 – 26, 2018 at the Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas.
Bannering the theme “Ako bilang Lakas ng Pagbabago sa Kagubatan at Pamayanan Ko,” the three-day event was attended by more than 400 delegates from four different regions (Cordillera Autonomous Region, Region 2, Region 3, and Region 6), composed of FMP-partner PO leaders, local government unit representatives, regional and provincial DENR officials, and project field implementers.
In support of its comprehensive site development activities, the Forestland Management Project (FMP) organized a training to capacitate its project implementing officers and staff in the proper management of rain gauges within its project sites.
