FMB Conducts GAD Mid-Year Assessment and Writeshop on GAD-Related Policies

In efforts to mainstream gender equality, empowerment, and development in all its programs, activities, and projects (PAPs), the Forest Management Bureau (FMB) through its Gender Focal Point System (GFPS) conducted a Mid-Year Assessment and Writeshop on GAD-Related Policies, held on August 29-September 1, 2017 at the Bohol Bee Farm, Panglao Island, Bohol.

The Mid-Year Assessment involved presentations of the GAD Work and Financial Plan, while the writeshop aimed to ensure that the concerns and experiences of women and men are equally considered in all FMB policies, allocations, programs, and projects. This would enable both women and men to contribute to and benefit from the fruits of development.

The GFPS is chaired by Assistant Director Mayumi Quintos-Natividad. Sixteen (16) women and nine (9) men participated during the event.
