The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the B+WISER Program have jointly organized a Workshop on Enhanced Private Sector Participation in Forest and Biodiversity Conservation on May 10, 2017 at the Dolcelatte, Quezon City.
Recognizing the importance of partnerships, the workshop aims to develop a mechanism for implementing forest and biodiversity conservation projects with the participation of the private sector. The workshop is attended by the Forest Management Bureau (FMB), Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB), and Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and key representatives from interested private corporations, national non-government organizations (NGOs) and selected local government units (LGU).
