To ensure effective events and exhibitions in the future, the 2nd Phase of the Writeshop on the Development of Exhibitor’s Manual for the Forest Management Bureau (FMB) was conducted on May 23-25, 2018 Pampanga. This event was graced by key officials of DENR Region 3.

The three-day learning event included discussions on various topics such as Formulation of Process Objectives, Review of Control Mechanisms, Roles and Responsibilities of Committees, and Formulation of Process Flows. The group also visited the Bamboo Hub Ecopark in Lubao and J.B. (Betis Craft) Furniture Showroom and Wood Finishing in Guagua.

“The need to develop, design, and manage a Sustainable Event and Exhibition Management System (SEEMS) would always be a primary consideration in the formulation of the manual”, stressed Ms. Camille Rose Albarracin, Assisting Professional on the Development of Exhibitor’s Manual for FMB. The Open Space Technology (OST) was again utilized to stimulate the participants to freely share their ideas and experiences on the topics discussed. Group discussions were likewise applied to accomplish the expected outputs of the writeshop.

The writeshop was actively participated by representatives from the Forest Resources Management Division (FRMD), Forest Policy, Planning, and Knowledge Management Division (FPPKMD), IEC Team, Integrated Natural Resources Environment Management Project (INREMP), and Forest Investment Development Division (FIDD).
