The Forest Management Bureau (FMB) conducts its annual Year-End Assessment cum Management Conference from 3-5 December 2025 in Cavite, Region IV-A (CALABARZON), involving the members of its Expanded Executive Committee, Project Managers, and selected technical staff, headed by the FMB Assistant Director, Atty. Ray Thomas F. Kabigting.

The three-day activity aims to review the CY 2025 accomplishments of the Bureau, along with the challenges and best practices encountered, all of which are vital information for the formulation of better strategies and enhancement of organizational performance for the forthcoming years. In the opening message of the Undersecretary for Policy, Planning and International Affairs and Supervising Undersecretary for the Forest Management Bureau, Atty. Jonas R. Leones, the significance of the assessment workshop was highlighted as a platform to share and exchange ideas, surface solutions, and propose innovations for the betterment of FMB’s capacity to deliver its mandate. Meanwhile, Atty. Kabigting, in his remarks, commended the adaptive capacity and resilience of everyone present, and by extension, all members of the Bureau, in achieving their respective activities despite difficulties.


Lessons learned and results from this management review will be incorporated in reshaping FMB’s strategic direction, enhancing its operational excellence and maintaining its steadfast commitment to sustainable forest development.
