The Forest Management Bureau conducted a Hybrid Workshop to complete and finalize the CY 2018-2024 accomplishments related to the ground delineation of production forests for investments at Ardenhills Suites, Quezon City.
Since the implementation of the delineation activity in 2018, the DENR Field Offices identified areas suitable for production purposes such as agroforestry, grazing, tree plantation, ecotourism, and other special uses, as guided by FMB Technical Bulletin No 5-A.
The workshop aimed to thoroughly review the submitted accomplishments of the Regional and Field Offices and finalize all delineated Potential Investment Areas (PIA), ensuring that these PIAs are free from overlaps with any forestry tenure or management arrangements, and projects.
As part of the Bureau’s commitment in the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023-2028, these PIAs will form part of the land development of the forest investment portal “Tagpuan” and will be marketed to potential investors.
The hybrid workshop was participated by selected FMB personnel and representatives from the DENR Central Office and DENR Regional Offices of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions I, II, IV-A (CALABARZON, IV-B (MIMAROPA), V-VIII, IX, and XI-XIII
