Cooperative Month 2020

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the entire cooperative sector nationwide, celebrate the Cooperative Month this October, as per Proclamation No. 493, s. 2003, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed on October 29, 2003, declaring the month of October 2004 and every year thereafter as Cooperative Month, to encourage wider participation of all sectors of society in nation-building through cooperativism.
The cooperative month theme for this year is: “Cooperatives Amidst the Pandemic, Stand for Resiliency, Strive for Sustainability”. This is the winning entry from the hundreds of submissions from the cooperative sector.
The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Head Office, together with sixteen (16) Regional Offices, and the cooperative sector, celebrates the Cooperative Month with a series of activities, starting with the nationwide simultaneous opening of the event.
