The Forest Management Bureau conducted its first cluster orientation on the National Integration of Forestry Spatial Datasets for the Visayas and Mindanao Regions on March 21 to March 24, 2023 in Estancia de Lorenzo, San Mateo, Rizal.
The said activity focused on the improvement of the DENR Field Offices’ skills in the identification, assessment, integration, and management of existing forestry spatial datasets, as well as, the transformation of tabulated monitoring and accomplishment reports into spatial data.
The orientation was attended by the respective division chiefs of planning and management, conservation and development, enforcement, licenses, patents and deeds, survey and mapping, as well as their regional GIS focals.
